<p>One of the major pitfalls for Southern California Collegiate Oarsman is that they don&#8217;t have a structured training program to continue their physiologic and technical progression as they approach their next year of collegiate competition. Their college teammates who live back East, or in the Northwest, may join clubs that have summer training camps geared toward racing and personal development. Now Southern California oarsman have an opportunity to continue to row in a sweep boat and a sculling boat, gaining strength, knowledge, and fitness for the coming season.</p>
<p>Take the opportunity you have this summer to get faster. Practices are in the morning, leaving time for work, school, or a little time at the beach.</p>
